A good example is the reuse project for scrap rolls from the No. 3 and No. 4 rolling mills. The workshop formed a cross-process collaboration team to comprehensively evaluate production demands, product specifications, equipment conditions, and other multi-dimensional data. The team proposed an innovative technical solution: modifying the dimensions of rolls that could not be reprocessed, widening the grooves and repositioning them to the front stands for repeated use. This approach significantly increased steel throughput, directly boosting output while enabling resource recycling.

This technical transformation not only reduced spare parts consumption but also greatly enhanced production efficiency and product quality.
